What was public in October 2026
We looked for published prices of built-in wardrobes in Cyprus. The makers we checked, including two that rank for “wardrobes Limassol” and “built-in wardrobes Cyprus”, give no figures and quote by phone or after a visit. Shop wardrobes do have prices, and they are a useful floor: a built-in wardrobe will not cost less than a flat-pack one of the same width.

Prices as listed in October 2026. They are flat-pack wardrobes in fixed sizes that you assemble; delivery and assembly are extra. VAT in Cyprus is 19%.
Why a built-in wardrobe costs more
- It goes to the ceiling. A shop wardrobe stops at 1.8–2.4 m; a built-in one uses the full height, so there is more board, more door and a top shelf for suitcases.
- It is made for one opening. Every part is cut to your sizes, not taken from a stack of identical boxes.
- It has to fit walls that are not straight. Filler strips and trims close the gaps at the sides and the ceiling.
- It is fitted on site. Measuring, delivery, assembly in the room and fixing to the wall take time.
In return, the niche is used to the last centimetre, there is no dusty gap above the wardrobe and no gap at the sides.
What moves the price
- Width and height. The area of board grows with both; a wardrobe 2.6 m high uses noticeably more than one 2.2 m high.
- Number of doors. A door is at most about 60 cm wide for its hinges to carry it, so a 2.4 m wardrobe has at least four, each with two to four hinges.
- Inside. Drawers cost the most, with a pair of runners each; a hanging rail costs the least; shelves sit in between. Pull-out trouser racks and shoe shelves add again.
- Hinged or sliding doors. Sliding doors run on a track system that is priced on its own, often with aluminium frames; mirrors and glass add more.
- Fronts. Melamine is the usual and cheapest front; lacquered MDF and veneer cost more.
- Hardware brand. Soft-close hinges and runners from a known brand cost more than budget ones.
- Delivery, assembly and VAT. Ask whether the quote includes them.

What the Epiplana designer prices
The designer draws a wardrobe with hinged doors up to 2.8 m wide and 2.78 m high. You split it into sections and give each one a hanging rail or shelves, and drawers at the bottom if you want them. It checks that shelves will not sag, that a tall wardrobe can be stood up under your ceiling, and adds wall fixing. Sliding doors are not in the designer yet.
The estimate comes from your parts: 18 mm melamine-faced chipboard for the carcass and doors, 3 mm board for the back and drawer bottoms, ABS edging, cutting, drilling, soft-close hinges and runners. When you send the design, a local workshop checks it, comes to measure, and confirms the final price with delivery and assembly. You pay the workshop directly, not the site.
